Its overall design remains fundamentally identical to the original, with minor modifications reflecting technical developments or current safety regulations. Please note: there are two torsion bar mounting systems — one used from 1961 to October 1978, and another for later models. This chassis uses the second system. For fitting on a vehicle built before October 1978, the front torsion bar system of the latest design must be adopted. Depending on the year and model, some drilling adjustments may be required.
